STUFFED IDLI
Idli batter as required
For instant batter take semolina 250 gms eno fruit salt 1tsp curd 50gms salt as per taste oil 1tbsp water as required
Mix semolina salt curd and water make batter of medium consistency heat oil and add to the batter mix well , then add eno and mix properly and keep aside.
For stuffing
1oninoi chopped length wise
1 medium potato peeled and chopped in small cubes
2tbsp peas
2tbsp carrot shredded
1tsp oil 1tsp curry patta
1 tbsp chana daal
½ tsp haldi
1tsp sambhar masala
Salt and chili as per taste
(you can use any vegetable pf your choice)
Heat oil add chana dal sauté til brown add curry leavea saute for 30 sec then add onion sauté till pink add haldi the vegetables salt and chili then add sambhar masala mix well ane remove from fire, take idli stand apply oil then put 1tbsp idli batter in each cup now put vegetable mixture and agai top with idli batter and steam for 15-20 min as we do for idlies. Remove and serve with chutney of your choice….this is good for kids Tiffin’s too…….
