KALI DAAL FOR VRAT
250gms cup Sabut Urad Dal
tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
6 pods Garlic (chopped)
3'-4' piece Ginger (chopped)
250 gms Tomatoes (chopped)
2 Green Chilies (slit)
1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1tsp Cumin Seeds
Water as needed
mustard Oil for tadka
2tbsp fresh cream
Soak the dal for atleast for 2 hours.Now pressure cook dal along with water, salt, garlic, ginger, tomatoes and red chilli till done.Heat oil or in a pan and add cumin seeds, green chilies,Now add the dal to the above and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, add garam masala, Add water if required , now add cream and mix well Garnish the dal with coriander leaves.serve hot with kulcha / naan /roti/ prantha or rice................
