Potato - 3 -4medium size
Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp finely chopped
Green chilies - 2 finely chopped
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
garlic paste -1tsp
Corn flour - 4 tbsp
1 tbsp corn flour for the sauce
capsicum 1 medium size sliced
onion 1 medium size sliced lengthwise
Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
Chilly sauce - 1 tsp
Vinegar -1 tsp
Chilly flakes - ½ tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Sugar - ½ tsp
Oil - to fry the potatoes and cook chilly potato
Wash potatoes properly, peel and slice them length wise thinly. Mix the sliced potatoes with corn flour nicely. They should get coated nicely with corn flour, heat oil in a pan, and fry potatoes till they get golden brown color , remove an place them on absorbent paper.
now remove the extra oil from the pan or reduce it to 2tsp add garlic paste ginger add ginger and green chilies. Cook for a while add onion and capsicum cook for 5 minutes. On low flame add chilly flakes, tomato sauce, and soya sauce, Mix well. Add 1tsp corn flour in ¼ cup of water mix and stir until all lumps get dissolved and then mix up with roasted spices and sauce add potatoes mix well, Also mix coriander leaves and mix all ingredients nicely.
Chilly potatoes are ready. serve hot with fried rice.
