NUTRITIOUS KHICHARI

MY KIDS FAVORITE AND NUTRITIOUS KHICHARI
½ cup mixed daals (split black and green grams, masoor, chana daal arhar)or of your choice
¼ cup rice
¼ cup bajra(pearl millet
¼ cup dalia( broken wheat
1 cup mixed vegetables ( cauliflower, peas, carrot, potatoes)washed and cut into small pieces
10-12 cashew nuts
Hand full of peanuts
1tsp zeera (cumin
1tsp magaz
1tsp haldi(turmeric)
Salt and chilli tste
1/2tsp briyani masala
6 garlic cloves minced
A pinch of heeng
2tbsp refined oil
2 tbsp desi ghee
1 1/2 cup of water
Wash daals rice bajra and dalia, and soak in water for 15-20 min, heat oil roast chashenuts ,peanuts,magaz remove from oil and keep aside, add heeng and zeera in the same oil roast till light brown add galic saute till light brown add salt peper haldi saut for 2-3 sec then add rice, dall baajradalia and veggies, mix well add water as required bring it to boil then add ghee, briyani masala, and nuts mix well and cook covered on low heat. Serve with curd , butter ,chutney……..
