DUM ZIMIKAND FOR VRAT

dum zimikand for vrat
zimikand 500 gms peeled cubed
dahi 150gms
ajwain 1tsp
1/4 tsp sauntth pwder
tomatoes 2 medium pureed
2-3 green chilies slit lengthwise
haldi 1 tsp
black pepper 1tsp
black salt to taste
oil as requires
hara dhania and pudina 1tsp each chopped
fry zimikand to golden brown remove on absorbent paper. in a heavy bottem kadhayi heat 1 tbsp oil add ajwain when splutter add curd and saute till brown add dry spices and tomato puree and saute till oil separates add zimikand and cook on low flame till done and dry to have curry you can add water add dhanina pudina leaves and green chilies mix well and serve with roti or vrat ki poori................
