1kg mutton
Heeng 2 big pinches
250 gms onion
250 gms tomatoes
4-6 green chillies
Galic 8 cloves crushed
Ginger 1”piece crushed
2tsp haldi (turmeric)
2tsp Degi mirch or as per taste
200 gms curd
Rattan jot few flakes
100 ml mustard oil
2 tsp Mutton masala
Salt to taste
Wash mutton add heeng and keep covered for 2 hrs, heat oil
in a heavy bottom pan add ginger garlic when browned add mutton cook for 5-6
minutes add onion and salt sauté till
brown , add rattanjot mix well till
onions get coloured properly add haldi and degi mirch mix well add tomatoes mix
well cook on low for 15 minutes covered keep steering in between, keep adding
little water of gets too dry now add curd mix well keep steering till boil ,
add masala powder and 2 cups of water, cook again on low for 15-20 minutes or
till its done…garnish with hara dhania serve hot with rice or chapaati…
